I absolutely adore the people in my Wednesday evening group cycling class. I have been planning to do a post about them, but in the meantime, I wanted to share what my buddy Dave (one of my “founding four”: the four people who have come to 99% of the Wednesday classes since I started there in August 2006) brought back for me when he took a trip to Germany two weeks ago:
Can you believe it? Can you feel my excitement at getting to read all of the same celebrity trash that we can get here, with the educational benefits of having to translate it? Yippee for me!
This one isn’t as much a celebrity mag but more of a fashion/lifestyle mag, but educational just the same:
Gotta go translate! More later! Happy Friday!

Isn’t it great? We must be sisters (even if evil)! I do the same stuff only I read the same gossip magz in English or online in order to learn/improve/not forget my English 🙂

Super Dave is good people.
Does “Schmink Desaster!” translate as “Skanky ho-bag”?

Good lord for a minute there I thought I had gone blind…
I agree does Schmink Desaster translate to what Jules said?
Melisa
Kat: I can’t imagine your English needing improvement!
Judie: I know! “Skanky ho-bag” could be an alternate translation for “Schmink Desaster”, but it primarily means “Make up disaster”! Check out Paris’ front teeth, covered with lipstick.
Melissa: see above! You’ll fig it!
