This Could NOT Wait Until Tomorrow.

Totally over-the-moon; that’s me.

I am thrilled to announce that I welcomed a foster “baby” into our home today. She’s adorably cute, and I plan to take her everywhere with me for the next six weeks (including BlogHer, Germany, and downtown Chicago, of course!) until I have to return her to her home (which will be a really sad day for me). I think I’m going to learn a lot from her.

This photo was not taken with my trusty, pink duct-taped Olympus NOR the new Olympus PEN E-PL1. I took it with my Photo Booth program on my MacBook in case you wondered.

Olympus was nice enough to allow me to borrow this beauty, and I will be reviewing it on SSR&S at the end of August. In the meantime, I’m going to read up on the instructions and try to use every single feature this piece of sweetness has on it, and will regularly post my newest masterpieces. Stay tuned!

Looking forward to seeing some good pics from it! Now you can no longer blame the hardware if you're a crappy photographer! At least that's what I do, 🙂

Pretty good looking "foster baby" there. I'm sure you'll be taking lots of wonderful photographs with that camera. You did freak me out though when I first saw your photo. I thought to myself, "is she aiming that camera at me and what am I wearing????"

Nice. Nice camera. I've been kind of drooling over these new Pen cameras for a long time. I used to own a Pen F – a 35mm camera that I took EVERYWHERE – that was notable for its small size and really good glass. It shot half frame – and it was amazing. I'm hoping the digital Pens will live up to the quality and reputation of the 'Pen' line.

I can't wait to meet your baby in 21 DAYS!

Why have I not seen a pic of you pink duct-taped Olympus? I know you mention it a lot but I just realized I have not seen a pic.
